4x8 carbon fiber sheet

The 4x8 carbon fiber sheet is used in various fields because of its high strength, light weight, corrosion resistance and dimensional stability.The surface of the sheet can be 3K plain weave and 3K twill weave, the surface  treatment of sheet can be  glossy finish and matte finish. We can produce your prefered surface. Our Carbon Fiber Sheets are made from 100% carbon fiber, which in precision cut with flat edges and no burrs.

The normal color of Carbon Fiber Sheets is black,  it can also be other color via surface  treatment. The thickness of the sheet is from 0.3mm to 20mm, the ultra thin plate is used for precision part, the thicker plate is used for load-bearing structures. The common size of the carbon sheet is 1000x1000mm, 1000x2000mm, 1220x2440mm and so on. We can do CNC based on customer's CAD file. The range of tensile strength is 2000Mpa-6000Mpa, it depends on grade of carbon fiber and lay-up.The intensity of Carbon Fiber Sheets is 1.5 - 1.8 g/cm³, which is only 1/4-1/5 the weight of steel. It's also key point to be lightweight.Carbon fibre can be laid at different angles , which will infuence the directionality of the performance.Unidirectional lay-up ( 0° ): very high tensile strength and modulus, but it is weak in lateral direction.Bi-directional layers ( 0°/90°): more balanced properties in all directions.
